Bio

Esther grew up visiting family friends in Montana from Atlanta, Georgia, and knew from a young age that she would one day call this state home. At age 18, Esther left Georgia to make that dream a reality. Esther is passionate about this State and its people and is honored to serve Montanans as they navigate some of life’s most vigorous challenges in the legal system.

During law school, Esther worked hard to understand the complexities of property law, knowing many of the issues facing Montanans revolve around the ownership and use of our beautiful lands. Esther excelled in this area and was chosen to be a Graduate Assistant in property law. Esther spent her time in law school serving as President of the Hispanic Law Students Association and Secretary of the Moot Court Competition Board. Esther is also very proud to have worked for the Human Trafficking Clinic at Regent University School of Law, where she helped victims of human trafficking work through the legal process of clearing their records of crimes committed under the direction of their perpetrators. This deeply meaningful work continues to inspire Esther to work hard for those in need.

During her summer months in law school, Esther worked at the Gallatin County Attorney’s Office, helping prosecute sexual assault cases, dependency and neglect cases, involuntary commitment cases, and other criminal matters. This work equipped Esther with a broad understanding of the legal system and confidence in the courtroom.

Before joining Valley Law, Esther served as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Brenda R. Gilbert, Ret., and the Honorable Judge Rebecca R. Swandal of the Montana Sixth Judicial District Court. During this time, Esther conducted legal research to assist the Judge in her decision-making and drafted Orders for the Court. Esther’s experience as Law Clerk provided her with invaluable insight into the concerns of judges across the State and what it takes to make a winning argument.

Esther brings these insights into her work at Valley Law and is committed to providing Valley Law clients with clear direction and satisfying results.

When she is not working, you can find Esther salsa dancing with the local Montana-based group, Sizzling Salsa, in the backcountry camping, or on the water navigating her sailboat.
